WARRANTY AND TERMS
All Kyocera ceramic products are warranted to be free from defects
in material or workmanship for two (2) years after the original
purchase date, only if purchased directly from SHP or
any of our appointed retailer outlets.
In the event such a defect occurs, SHP Consulting. (“SHP”)
will repair or replace the product free of charge, subject to
This warranty extends only to the product's original purchaser.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, or
accidental damage to the product.
Small chips or broken tips are not covered by this warranty, but
can often be corrected by re-sharpening, cost of such repair is
borne by the purchaser.
Discoloration on the ceramic blade can be removed by soaking in
a mild bleach solution, should this occur.
THE ABOVE WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE
AND SHP MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
REGARDING THE KNIFE OR RELATING TO ITS QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, MERCHANTABILITY,
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SHP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR
INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES WHETHER A CLAIM IS
BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE. IN NO EVENT WILL
SHP'S LIABILITY EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE KNIFE.
We are the only company in South
Africa to offer the resharpening service of Kyocera Ceramic Knives
Our specialised resharpening service is
only available to customers who have purchased their Kyocera knives
either directly from us or through our appointed retailers and
only applies to the original purchaser.
Your proof of purchase is required in order to make use of this
service. We do not support the resharpening of Kyocera knives
that have been purchased from any other supplier be it from a
non appointed store or from a website.
If you are unsure please contact us to make sure that the store
or website in question has been appointed by us before you make
your purchase. No exceptions.
